Parking
Students can purchase parking passes at a reduced rate. Arrangements at the Business Office (located at each Hospital).
IMPORTANT: At the Owen Sound Hospital, students must park in the designated staff parking lot at the back of the hospital. The front lot is ONLY available to patients and visitors.
Photo Identification Badges
All Post-Secondary Students are required to wear their College or University’s photo ID badge for the duration of the placement. If your educational institution does not provide an ID badge, please contact Learning Resources for alternate identification options.
Lockers
Lockers for storing personal items are available, as space permits. It is advisable that you do not bring valuables into the workplace. Brightshores does not accept responsibility for the loss of personal items. For locker arrangements, contact Brightshores’ Human Resources department.
Pharmacy
In Owen Sound, there is a Retail Pharmacy for staff and visitors located on Level 2 in the Gift Shop.
Library Services
All of our Hospitals have access to the Electronic Library services. At the Owen Sound site, there is a library located on Level 1. For assistance with Library Services, please contact library@gbhs.on.ca.
